Carter Plant Hire has just completed another collect and erect contract for a new-build house in Rousdon, just outside Lyme Regis.
As in previous posts, we collected the glulam beams, delivered them to site and then lifted them into place. They will form part of the frame of this barn-style residence with exposed beams.
Carter Plant Hire has a fleet of full-size mobile cranes and lorry lifters. For smaller haulage jobs we can offer a specialist heavy goods truck ideal for small building works and for unloading bigger vehicles where site access is difficult. This can be a more economic option for smaller items such as hot tubs or where the lift is relatively low.
