Carter Plant Hire recently organised collection, delivery and contract lift for a large dryer/heater for an anaerobic digestion plant.
The unit was collected from the manufacturer in Blandford Forum and taken to the plant just outside Tiverton. The lifting gear was supplied by Carter Plant Hire as part of the Contract Lift package. With something this large and relatively delicate, specialist beams are used to ensure the unit is protected whilst being lifted and put into place.
Unsurprisingly, this is similar to the methods used when lifting caravans and mobile homes, which need an equally delicate touch. As a chosen contractor for several local holiday parks, we get plenty of practice at getting this right.
